STAY COOL hosted part one of a multi-part virtual conversation on Thursday, July 16th at 7:00 PM: Coronavirus and Climate: Lessons Learned from a San Diego Perspective via Zoom.

Thank you to the 35 attendees who participated in STAY COOL’s first virtual member meeting and thank you to our speakers. This timely and important conversation was led by Jo-Ann Julien, BA, MEd, Health Planning and Program Specialist for the County of San Diego, and Erica M. Ferrer, PhD candidate and a fellow in the Octavio Aburto lab at UCSD-Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Center for Marine Diversity and Conservation. We hope you learned something new about lessons learned during coronavirus and how they can be applied to climate action.
